The Golden Age of Glasgow’s Art Trade: Crown Halls, Sauchiehall Street

Sauchiehall Street has undergone so many transformations, and lost almost all of its

famous stores, along with several landmark buildings.

 

This postcard shows the Crown Halls, on the right, following pedestrianisaton of the

street. Arnotts, on the left, occupied the site of the Alexander Henderson/ Henderson’s
