The advertisement reads: “FINE ARTS RANKIN & GRAY, CARVERS, GILDERS, AND PRINTSELLERS, 93 UNION STREET, GLASGOW,
BEG to inform the Public generally, that they have bought from Mr. Thomas Bonnar of Edinburgh the entire Copyright and Steel Engraved Plates, with about 200 of the original impressions of the following Clergymen’s Portraits, and will Sell them at one-third their Published Prices.
