David Robertson moves to new premises in 1830

An advertisement in the Glasgow Herald, Friday June 4th 1830, page 3, informed readers that David Robertson, late of Atkinson and Robertson, had moved to 188 Trongate, second shop east of Glassford Street, lately occupied by Messrs. Brown & Co., oil and colourmen. The extensive and commodious premises had been “purposely fitted up.” The advert includes details of some of Robertson’s recent publications, including The Young Scholar’s First Lessons, second edition, which cost two-pence.

A notice of the dissolution of the partnership can be seen on page 3 of the Glasgow Herald, 31st May 1830.
