A Grand Pianola-Player Recital at Muir Wood’s Showrooms, 42 Buchanan Street, with Singing by Mr Thorpe Davie, on Monday the 4th of December, 1911

An advertisement on page eight of The Glasgow Herald, on Monday the 4th of December, 1911, invited readers to

“A Grand Pianola-Player Recital” in Muir Wood’s Showrooms, 42 Buchanan Street, at 3.30 pm that day.

 

Mr Thorpe Davie was scheduled to sing four songs: Lend Me Your Aid, Eyes That Used to Gaze in Mine, Winds in

the Trees, and Devotion “(Accompanied by the Pianola)”. Programmes and admission were free on the presentation

of a Card, at the premises.
