December 1858: Advertisement for Herr Muller’s Subscription Concerts

An advertisement on the front page of The Glasgow Herald, on Monday the 13th of December, 1858, reads:

 

“HERR MULLER’S SUBSCRIPTION CONCERTS.

 

THE SUBSCRIPTION for those Four Chamber Concerts is rapidly filling up, and will be CLOSED

on the 15th inst. It is intended that Subscribers alone be admitted. The Seats (in the New Queen’s

Music Hall) will be numbered, and preference in selection given to Names entered previous to the

above-mentioned date.

 

The List of Subscribers may be seen, and all information afforded, at Mr. De Monti’s Music

Warehouse, 101 Buchanan Street.”
