August 1904: The Glasgow Toynbee House Choir

An short notice on page two of The Greenock Telegraph and Clyde Shipping Gazette, on Wednesday the 10th of August, 1904,

reads:

 

“The Glasgow Toynbee House Club comes down from the city this evening to sail with the turbine cruise

from Princes Pier. The fine choir, one of the best in Scotland, will sing during the course of the sail.”
