February 1900: Athenaeum School of Music – Pupils’ Tenth Annual Concert, in St Andrew’s Hall – James Friskin
In a long article about the pupils’ concert, on page six of The Glasgow Herald, on Wednesday the 28th of
February, 1900, is the following:
“… Instrumental solos were also contributed by Master James Frisken [sic], the clever and promising
pianoforte pupil of Mr Alfred Heap, who played with consummate ease and intelligence for one of his
years. …”
