February 1924: Last Week of Pola Negri, as “Carmen”, at Cranston’s Picture House, Renfield Street – Three Vocalists Performing

An advertisement on page eight of The Glasgow Herald, on Wednesday the 6th of February, 1924, informed readers

that it was the last week of showing Carmen, a 1918 German silent drama, at Cranston’s. In addition to the film, there

were performances by three vocalists: Miss Isabel Wilkie, Mr Peter Mulholland, and Mr Alex D. Carmichael.
