June 1915: “Scottish Musical Notes” in ‘The Bioscope’ – The King’s Trio at the King’s Cinema, Sauchiehall Street

Thursday the 17th of June, 1915, is the following:

 

“The King’s Trio, at the King’s Cinema, Glasgow, gains in popularity, and the effects of the piano, violin, and ‘cello are

very pleasing. Mr John Linden, is the famous ‘celloist, and his solos are always heartily applauded. At the King’s it is

announced on the programme that the trio will play any piece desired on notice being given at the box office.”
