September 1915: “The Bioscope” – Scottish Musical Notes – Mr. Norman Williams, Baritone, at The Picture House, Sauchiehall Street

On page 1047 of The Bioscope (page 67 in The British Newspaper Archive), on Thursday the 2nd

of September, 1915, is the following:

 

“Mr. Norman Williams, the eminent baritone, delighted large audiences in the Picture House,

Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, last week. Mr. Williams has an enviable reputation among Glasgow

picture-lovers, and his appearance always mean [sic] crowded houses.”
