Social Reform Society: Young Men’s Promenade Concerts, in the Trades’ Hall, Glassford Street, on January the 14th, 1862

An advertisement on the front page of The Glasgow Herald, on Tuesday the 14th of January, 1862, informed

readers that one of the Social Reform Society’s Young Men’s Promenade Concerts would take place that day, in

the Trades’ Hall, Glassford Street.

 

The vocalists:  Miss Ada Taylor and Miss Seaton. “The GLASGOW ORCHESTRA as usual.” The concert commenced

at 8 o’clock, and admission was sixpence for non-subscribers. Richard Adams was the Conductor.
