December 1855: Scottish Exhibition, 93 Bath Street – Floral Decorations of the “Persia” are on Display

An advertisement on page three of The Glasgow Courier, on Saturday the 8th of December, 1855, reads:

 

“SCOTTISH EXHIBITION, 93, BATH STREET,

The beautiful FLORAL DECORATIONS of the ‘ PERSIA’

are now on View, for a short time only.

Admission, SIXPENCE—Open from 2 till 10 o’Clock.

Saturday Evening, THREEPENCE.

Young Ladies attending Seminaries admitted at Half-price.”
