December 1861: Sale of Furniture, Manufactured by Messrs. Robert Whyte & Son, St. Vincent Street, at Finlayston (Finlaystone) House, Renfrewshire

An advertisement, on page eight of The Glasgow Herald, on Monday the 9th of December, 1861,

informed readers about the sale of superior furniture at Finlayston (Finlaystone) House,

Renfrewshire, on Thursday the 12th.

 

The auctioneer, P. Burn & Co., 9 Exchange Place, provided details of the Mahogany, Rosewood,

Walnut and Oak furniture, manufactured by Messrs. Robert Whyte & Son, St. Vincent Street,

Glasgow, along with other household items. Catalogues were available.
