January 1902: Honour to Glasgow Artist – Mr William Kennedy

An article on page six of The Glasgow Herald, on Wednesday the 22nd of January, 1902, reads:

 

“HONOUR TO GLASGOW ARTIST.- Mr William Kennedy, a Glasgow artist, has been awarded

a gold medal in connection with the Dresden International Exhibition of Fine Arts. It is a

Government Exhibition, and the medal has come to Mr Kennedy through the German Embassy

and the Secretary for Foreign Affairs in London.”
