Mechanical and Architectural Drawing Academy, Mr. Fisher of Deanston Works, October 1832

An advertisement on page three of the Glasgow Herald, on Monday the 22nd of October, 1832, reads:

 

“MECHANICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL

DRAWING ACADEMY.

MR. FISHER, from DEANSTON WORKS,

Successor to the late MR. JAMES WATT, Architect

in Glasgow, will open Classes in Mr. Watt’s old

Premises, Turner’s Court, 87, Argyll Street, on

TUESDAY the 6th of November next, for instructions

in all the branches of Mechanical and Architectural

Drawing.

Glasgow, 15th October, 1832.”
