October 1934: Lena Pillico at the Grand Hotel – Exhibition of Unique Colour Schemes and Designs on Velvet and Silk

An advertisement on page eleven of The Glasgow Herald, on Tuesday the 2nd of October, 1934, reads:

 

“EXHIBITON OF

UNIQUE COLOUR SCHEMES AND

DESIGNS ON VELVET AND SILK

By LENA PILLICO. Grand Hotel. 10-7.”

 

 

Pillico (1884-1947), a Polish-born artist and textile designer, moved to London in 1914 with her husband, the artist Leopold
