August 1930: Naomi Jacob Appears in Her Own Play, “Mary of Delight”, Presented in Glasgow, by The Masque Theatre

The Daily Record and Mail (Daily Record, in The British Newspaper Archive) regularly provides interesting information

and photographs which are not so easy to find elsewhere.

 

On page twelve of the paper, on Tuesday the 19th of August, 1930, is a photograph of Naomi Jacob, and the caption:

“Naomi Jacob, / who appears in her own play, ‘Mary/ of Delight,’ presented in Glasgow/ by the Masque Theatre.”

 

 

There is an advertisement for Naomi’s play, performed at the Theatre Royal, on page eleven of the same edition

of the newspaper.
