David Hamilton 1768-1843: “Father of Architecture in the West of Scotland”

This short walk visits the main buildings designed by David Hamilton, and the sites of those which have been demolished.


These include Hutchesons’ Hospital and the Union Bank on Ingram Street; the British Linen Bank, and the Royal Exchange on Queen Street.
